Cooks Measure

The Cook's dry measure is an invaluble kitchen tool. Simply pour ingredients up to the desired level for speed and accuracy without using weighing scales.The measure is calibrated in both metric and imperial, making it easy to follow favourite old cookery books, and recipes passed down from a mother or grandmother.The measure also measures in ounces, grams, American and English cups and pints. The Cook's measure is also calibrated for fluid measurements and can be used to measure liquids for immediate use, but is not watertight.The cooks measure has been made by hand, in Liverpool, England. It has been made on the same machinery since since the 1920's and every one ivolves over 20 hand processes. Most importantly it is not just made by hand; it has been made by one of a small team of skilled people, by Maureen, Brenda, Graham or one of his team.Care & UseDo not put your cooks measure in a dishwasher. Simply wash in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Remember your cook's measure is made from tin plate; if you leave it wet, it is liable to rust.Treat your measure well and it will serve you for many years to come.Made in England.
